Our History
1977
Iowa Spring opened in Adel, Iowa, in 1977 to manufacture the highest quality springs for overhead garage doors and agricultural equipment. Thanks to our success in those industries, we expanded to serve other sectors with springs for material handling, snowplows, railcars, lift gates, trailers, construction equipment, and recreational vehicles, and more.
We are still proudly owned and operated by our founders.
2007
Our reputation in the springs industry has led to solid growth. We opened a second manufacturing facility in the Southeast in 2007.
2023
Iowa Spring Manufacturing now has more locations across the country, for a total of 4 manufacturing facilities. We acquired our most recent Iowa Spring facility in 2023. This new Northeast location has been serving the industry since 1989.
