The Iowa Spring Midwest Facilities serve as the headquarters and original manufacturing location for Iowa Spring Manufacturing, a leader in custom spring production since 1977. Founded in the heart of the Midwest in Adel, Iowa, this facility established Iowa Springs’ reputation for precision springs used across the overhead garage door, agricultural equipment, construction, and mechanical industries.
For more than four decades, the Midwest facility has been the cornerstone of the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service. From its first production lines to today’s modern manufacturing environment, Iowa Spring’s headquarters has continually invested in advanced spring manufacturing technology and expertise to support diverse applications and evolving industry needs.
As Iowa Spring expanded its reach, the Midwest Facilities became the hub for strategic growth and operational excellence. In addition to the original manufacturing plant in Adel, this location now includes expanded production space to support increased demand from customers nationwide and worldwide. Company leadership, customer support, and administrative teams are also based at the Midwest headquarters, making it the center of Iowa Spring’s business and innovation strategy.
Over the years, Iowa Spring has expanded its capabilities with additional facilities, including the Southeast facility in North Carolina and the Northeast facility in Pennsylvania, providing greater geographic coverage and increased capacity to serve customers across multiple industries.

Our original location in Adel, Iowa, has been in operation for nearly 50 years.
Beginning as an overhead garage door spring and agricultural spring manufacturer, our growth in those industries and our expansion into the mechanical springs market, has led to many additions to our factory.
In 2023, we built a second facility in Adel to accommodate our growth.
